Imperial Astoria Deco Art Deco Bathrooms
Bring the Glamour of the 1920s into Your Bathroom
Bold geometry and elegant detailing bring unmistakable character & have helped Art Deco design remain relevant more than a century after it first came to prominence.
Imperial Bathrooms captures that distinctive style with its Astoria Deco Collection, a range inspired by the glamour and creativity of the Jazz Age while offering the quality and practicality expected from a modern bathroom. For homeowners looking to create something different, Astoria Deco provides a beautiful starting point.
What Makes Astoria Deco Different?
The character of Astoria Deco comes from its strong lines, geometric forms and carefully considered detailing.
Rather than simply recreating a bathroom from the past, the collection allows elements of 1920s design to become part of a contemporary home. Its distinctive ceramic basins can be paired with elegant basin stands, while a choice of WC styles makes it possible to take the design in a more traditional or subtly modern direction.
Finishes including Chrome, Antique Gold, Polished Nickel, Brushed Brass and Brushed Nickel provide further opportunities to personalise the look and coordinate the smaller details throughout the room.
Creating an Art Deco Bathroom
One of the strengths of Art Deco is that you don’t need to recreate an entire period interior to achieve the look.
An Astoria Deco basin and statement basin stand can become the focal point of an otherwise understated bathroom. Alternatively, stronger colours, decorative surfaces, geometric patterns, mirrors and carefully chosen lighting can be introduced to create a much richer interpretation of the style.
For a more traditional bathroom, a high or low-level WC can reinforce the period influence. For something more contemporary, cleaner surrounding finishes allow the distinctive shape of the Astoria ceramics to provide the character.
It is this ability to move between classic and contemporary interiors that makes the collection particularly interesting.
British Craftsmanship from Imperial
Astoria Deco is part of the wider Imperial Bathrooms collection, a British bathroom brand with a strong emphasis on traditional craftsmanship, quality materials and individual design.
Imperial’s approach is particularly suited to bathrooms where the details matter. Rather than treating the basin, WC, furniture and brassware as separate decisions, the collections make it possible to create a room where individual elements work together as part of one considered design.
